“This will add to and be a very welcome addition
to the developing body of evidence and support for this large and
often neglected group of individuals. Anne's unique style and personal
experience will particularly resonate for many who find themselves
dealing with their own responses to illness whilst simultaneously
supporting others.”
Sheila Tyler, Director of Blythe House Hospice, High Peak, UK |

“I love to teach people how to accumulate enlightened
wealth. But all the wealth in the world means little if the health
of someone you love is under threat. Cancer is one of the most feared
ways that this can happen, and yet most (if not all) of us will face
this disease in our family at some stage. Everyone should read Their
Cancer–Your Journey to prepare themselves, help them through their
current journey, or resolve issues from their past.”
Robert G. Allen, NY Times Best-selling Author of ‘Nothing Down’ and
‘Multiple Streams of Income’, Best-selling Co-Author of ‘The One Minute
Millionaire’ |

“Statistics tell us that one out of three people
will be affected by cancer in their lifetime. This leads us to wonder
at the countless nearest and dearest who also have to cope with this
diagnosis. Anne Orchard's book is informative, encouraging and uplifting.
Guiding you in ways to strengthen your courage and help loved ones
cope with this most difficult of journeys. Should you be travelling
on this journey, there is no better road map than Anne Orchard's book.”

“Oh how I wish this could have been around when
my son was dying. I could have prepared not only myself , but my family
too.”

My mother had five cancers in her life time and
as close members of the family we had little involvement. She was
anxious about us as well as herself. Had I been able to read a book
such as this at the time how different our lives would have been.
She kept a lot to herself and inadvertently hurt us. Do give this
book to people you know who have a close one with cancer.

My cousin was recently diagnosed with cancer
and her family have found it difficult to cope. My Aunt in particular
has been having difficulty coming to terms with her daughters illness
and really needed something that provided a compassionate and caring
insight into the sorts of issues that might arise and how the family
can best take care of both the patient and themselves. What they didn't
want was something that was overwhelmingly emotional, just the simple,
practical and no-nonsense approach that Anne has taken in her book.
In my opinion, everyone who has a loved one with cancer will gain
much support from reading it. Overall, excellent.

This book has been a tonic and helped me understand
more about the journey that myself and family are sadly on following
the diagnosis of my father with terminal cancer. It's really very
hard when you first find out that someone close to you has cancer.
When it's one of your parents, where there were answers before this
was no longer the case. Reading the book has helped provide a guiding
voice and I really would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation.

When a close friend was coping with cancer in
a loved one, I felt very helpless to know how to support them. I could
not begin to imagine the emotional trauma they are going through.
Anne Orchard's sympathetic book, written from personal experience,
seemed a way to 'do something'. My friend was so grateful, started
reading it straight away and has found it of great comfort. The personal
support is then available as she needs it, even when I cannot be close
by. It provides the hug I want to give her. It helps her recognise
that the feelings she has are common to many. Often the attention
is on those with the cancer, but this provides support for those on
the journey with them. If you know of anyone who is coping with cancer
in others, and you want to help them, then I would highly recommend
this book.

Very often helping a loved one deal with cancer
is depressing, scary, and lonesome. Their Cancer-Your Journey is the
book for those supporters, family members, and friends. It is an inspirational
guide that can be carried with you where ever the journey with your
loved one takes you. A must have book to keep you feeling strong so
that you can continue to be strong for them.

Gives practical advice to people coping with
cancer in a friend or loved one. Aimed at the people who are often
"left out"- those who grieve and care for the cancer victim.
